BJ began motivational speaking and captivating audiences in 1st grade. Being a very large, and only black child in his school system, he used the power of compatibility and communication to tear through tension. He quickly became a great fund raiser in elementary school, and peer counsel at the MLK center in urban areas by Junior High.
Now, BJ is sought out to work with young people, adults, & families. BJ facilitates at worship locations, top educational institutions, conferences, and not-for-profits; including Longview Independent School District, Top Teens of America Inc., Wiley College, Dept. of Education events, several small businesses, and at any opportunity offered him by people willing to move toward their potential.
With over fifteen years of experience and training, BJ is founder and CEO of The Mobile Notary, and prior to that founder of Jene Travel. His higher education in Sociology has motivated him to fields in social services. His street wise sensibility mixed with an executive demeanor makes him an ongoing pillar in the forgotten, ghetto-torn, 'Hood' as well as the booming business sector of 'Downtown'.
In addition to his work with his own businesses, and social services, BJ is often tapped for community service and volunteer work with individuals, groups, and families in his community. BJ is a member of the New Zion Baptist Church of Winona, Texas where he serves as the 'Young Men for Christ' Auxillary Leader.
BJ has been called upon as an expert and is referenced in venues ranging from neighborhood watch to multi-million dollar grant projects, has written several articles, and has been published in newspapers and magazines, and quoted in blogs across the globe.
BJ has the ability to emphasize the strengths of people, use that strength to immunize that individuals' weaknesses.
